Please read and follow all rules while participating in our fest. If you do not follow the rules, you will be asked to change your fic or your fic may not be included in the collection.01. This fest is all about Chanyeol! Anything you write for our fest should include Chanyeol as a main character or part of the main ship.
02. Please stay anonymous until reveals. You may share your fic with your beta-reader, but please don't spoil the fun by posting about what fic you wrote before reveals.
03. Plagiarism is prohibited.
04. Although there are no rules against them on ao3 in general, MCF does not accept AI-generated fics into our collections. This means you cannot use ChatGPT or any other AI to write your fic for you. Using software that can aid in editing, such as Grammarly, is allowed as long as you, the author, have written the fic. If we find that a fic has been written by an AI, we will remove it from our collection.
05. Non-con, beastiality, incest and pedophillia are prohibited. If you are unsure what falls under these terms, you may send us a DM or an Ask on our Retrospring.
06. The minimum word count is 500 words and we have no maximum word count.
07. Your fic can be a stand-alone or can be a sequel/prequel to or spinoff of any of your fics as long as it can stand on its own. If you write a sequel/prequel or spinoff, please do not link it to the original fic until after reveals.
08. We encourage diversity! Any Chanyeol ship is allowed, even people from other groups or other celebrities. Gender-bending is also allowed.
09. Your fic must not include Kris Wu or Lucas Wong, even as a mention.
10. You can write as many fics for each round as you like (of course, they must match the theme) but you must finish and submit your first fic before you sign-up to write another. If you wish to write an additional fic once you finish your first fic, please DM us to let us know.
11. If you would like to claim a prompt, please DM us, letting us know you'd like to write it.
12. Life happens. If you need an extension, please fill out our extension form. If you still need more time, please DM us. Sometimes, you may have to drop out and that's ok. If you are unable to finish on time, we will retweet and QRT any fics you want to post afterward that were written for our rounds.
